Time to book some travel! fyeahstarwars: nerdology: Star Tours Getting Revamped It was inevitable.  The Star Tours attraction in Disney World is closing and getting a reboot.  To celebrate, or more likely relive that Star Tours feeling one last time, Disney is throwing a party on August 14th.  For 75 Republic Credits dollars you can mourn Star Tours and take one last ride after the park closes.  Oh, there’s also a fireworks show and a kind of party thing happening.  The closing of Star Tours coincides with Celebration V -commemorating 30 years of Empire Strikes Back- also taking place in Florida.  It’s very likely that people will be going from the convention to the park so expect lots of people in costume and a great atmosphere. I really, really want to go to this.  Anyone else free on August 14th?
